Job Summary

Ledcor's Technical Division (LTS Solutions Ltd.) is seeking multi-service, self-motivated Installation and Repair Technicians for Vanderhoof, BC and surrounding area.  LTS Solutions Ltd. is a leader in providing telecommunication support services across North America. We specialize in providing maintenance, engineering and emergency restoration support to major telecommunication carriers across Canada and the USA.
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and high quality installation.
  • Troubleshooting and repair support for POTS, xDSL and IPTV technologies transported over fibre and copper networks.
  • Responsible for a geographical area to complete customer orders dispatched on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated and ability to organize workloads and work with little direction.
  • Safety conscious and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills
  • Quick learner
  • Comfortable with technology and working aloft
  • Two - Five years of installation and repair experience
  • Knowledge of basic voice (POTS), data services (xDSL), IP network configuration would be an asset.
  • Degree or diploma from a technical college
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is an asset
  • Electrician Trade Certification is an asset
  • Maintain a valid provincial driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract annually.
Work Conditions
  • This position requires the successful completion of a criminal and credit background check.
  • This position requires working in varying heights and confined spaces.
  • Evenings and weekend work are also required.
